FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some of the most frequent questions which I get asked about my murder mystery games.  If what you are looking for does not appear on this page, please email me at gsmysterygames@yahoo.com and I should reply within 24 hours.

Q1. How do I purchase one of the murder mystery games & how is it delivered to me?

A1. If you have Paypal or are paying by credit card, you can purchase a game by clicking on the "Order Online" button at the bottom of the game descriptions.  The game will be emailed to you as soon as you complete the paypal transaction.  If you do not have paypal, you can click on the "Order by Post" button at the bottom of each game description.  This will direct you to an order form to fill out and send to us along with your payment (only accept cheques, not cash).  Your murder mystery game will then be emailed or sent through the post as soon as your cheque has cleared.

Q2. What do I do when I recieve my murder mystery game?

A2. When you open up your email or CD, save the information  to your computer, then open it up and look for the file called "Read me first".  This will tell you what you need to do next.  Basically though, you need to print out or email each characters file to the guest who will be playing that character and then print off the host information file for whoever is hosting the game.

Q3. How do you get different murders and victims each time?

A3. In the hosts information file, there are different scenarios depending on who the murder is.  So if character 1 is the murderer, the host will read out the when, where and how for character 1's victim.  If character 2 was the murderer, there would be a completely different set of clues.  This way, the story and victim can be different each time depending on who the murderer is.

Q4. Can the murder mystery games be brought elsewhere?

A4. At the moment, my games are only for sale on this website, a select few other sites and a limited selection on Ebay.  They are not currently available to buy in high street shops.   

Q5. Can I personalise a murder mystery game?

A5. For an extra charge, I can change the names of characters or places to make them personal to you.  I can add in extra characters or change characters from male to female or vice versa if it suits but there will be a charge for this service due to the amount of time and work involved.  The cost will depend on what you want doing .  If you wish to personalise your murder mystery  game, please email me  at gsmysterygames@yahoo.com before purchasing to recieve a no obligation quote. 

Q6. Are there any disadvantages to your murder mystery games?

A6. The only disadvantage, as in all downloadable games, is that once you recieve the game, you then need to print out all the information yourself to send to your guests.  This is why downloadable games are always cheaper than boxed games.  I always recomend emailing the character information to your guests if possible to avoid you having to print too much.
